Craig Saunders: Eight years at Heriot-Watt University FC preceded a two year spell at Hawick Royal Albert for 30 year-old goalkeeper Craig who joined up at the Purdie Worldwide Community Stadium in July 2019.
Johnny Clements: A product of the Hibs youth system, Johnny initially joined two seasons ago then moved onto Armadale Thistle before retuning in the close season.
Gavin King: Goalkeeper Gavin moved from English football in August 2015 to sign for Broxburn Athletic before arriving at New Murrayfield Park the following season. Had a spell away with Livingston United but returned at the start of the season. The veteran keeper is now turning his hand more to the coaching side rather than playing.
Jack Sayers: Young full back Jack doesn’t turn 17 until November but has already claimed a first team place. Signed from Linlithgow Rose CFC for the U20’s but has quickly made the step-up.
Martin Lawrie: Defender Martin originally joined United in November 2014 from Whitletts Victoria after spending all of his career up until then in Ayrshire football. After three seasons and 64 appearances Martin moved onto pastures new with Bathgate Thistle and Fauldhouse United, as well as another brief spell at Whitletts, before returning to the Dem-master Community Stadium at the end of October 2018.
James Mildren: Goal scoring centre back James signed up for a return to Blackburn in June 2015 after spending most of his formative years with the club’s youth set up, enjoying successful seasons at U19 and U21 level before a brief sojourn in amateur football.
Kyle McClung: Young full-back Kyle joined from SPFL Premier League side Livingston after starting out at the Falkirk Football Community Foundation Academy before spending a short spell in the Clyde FC Academy. Before moving to the Tony Macaroni Arena Kyle was also with Edinburgh City in SPFL2. Had a spell on loan from Livingston last season before signing a permanent deal.
Marcus Millar: 24 year old central defender Marcus has spent the last five season at Pumpherston and before that Broxburn Athletic, Livingston FC and Broxburn Athletic Colts.
John Drummond: After a season at Harthill Royal, John spent the next three at Livingston United before arriving at New Murrayfield Park. Capable of playing in the centre of midfield or in the middle of the defence, 28 year-old John was signed at the end of September 2016 and was the club’s 2016/17 Player of the Year. Struggled with a knee injury last season but hopes to be back to his best for this campaign.
David Howe: Another teenager, holding midfielder David has been much sought after within West Lothian Junior and Senior football where he was originally with Broxburn Athletic after a short spell at Hibernian in the SPFL. Spent time with our U20 Development side but quickly forced his way into the Senior squad.
Michael Browne: Michael set out on his football career at Livingston as a youth but came to prominence at Whitburn before earning a move to the Super League with firstly Fauldhouse United and latterly with Broxburn Athletic before signing in July 2017.
Callum Heath: The midfielder spent some time on loan at the Burnie in the 2017/18 season from Berwick Rangers, before moving onto the University of Stirling for a three season spell.
Lennon Smith: 19 year old Lennon plays full-back and joins us after a four year spell at St.Johnstone, and before that Livingston.
Dominic Kane: SPFL sides Hibernian and Motherwell are where 23 year-old Dominic started out as a youth before moving into the EoSFL with the University of Stirling FC. Dominic is the nephew of ex-United Captain and Community Club Coach Development Officer Brian Smillie and is a cultured midfielder.
Richard Hutton: 26 year-old Richie is a midfielder who was signed from Bathgate Thistle in March 2017 as part of the deal that took Martin Lawrie to Creamery Park. With Dundee United as a youth, Richie also has SPFL sides Edinburgh City and East Fife on his CV.
Jack Garrad: 18 year old Jack joined us on loan from Hamilton Accies. A midfielder by trade, he was in the Livingston youth system before joining Accies.
Danny Campbell: 28 year-old Danny was an absolutely prolific striker while coming through the youth ranks at Murrayfield Park and netted his first goal for the ‘big’ side as a 16 year-old in the win at Dalkeith Thistle at the end of 2009/10. Manager Dad Mark eased him in gently in his first full season during 2010/11 and this helped him to become the potent goal threat he is now, whether playing through the middle or in a wider role.
Laurie Devine: A graduate of the Hamilton Accies youth set-up and has also spent time in the youth sides of Airdrieonians and Livingston before making his first strides in adult football with Tynecastle. Laurie spent most of last season with our U20 Development side before moving to the Senior squad last season.
Darren Gribben: The 35 year old striker has a wealth of experience in the SPFL with Hamilton Accies, Cowdenbeath, Forfar Athletic and Berwick Rangers amongst others, as well as Arthurlie, Bo’ness United, Fauldhouse United.
Baley Ferris: The young striker features for the U20’s a couple of season’s back before returning to Armadale U19’s. Now back at the club and looking to establish himself up front.
Andy McQuillan: No need for an introduction to the clubs all-time record goalscorer, who has returned this season for a fourth spell after a couple of years away with Livingston United. Andy is now 34 and originally signed way back in 2007, he was sitting on 178 goals at the start of the season.
